Our Latest Publication
The Raad Life is more than a platform - it’s a cultural movement. Rooted in design, storytelling, and reinvention, it explores what it really means to live intentionally in a time when success is being redefined. At the heart of the latest digital magazine is a powerful theme: the new American Dream. It’s a story of Gen X stepping into a new chapter, redefining success not by accumulation, but by freedom. Designing a life that feels expansive, mobile, and deeply personal. A life built around meaning over milestones. This is the decade of doing things differently. Designing a freer life. One space, one story, one suitcase at a time. The Raad Life invites a generation to rethink the blueprint and design a future that feels fully their own.
Raad Ghantous
The Raad Life: Redefining How a Generation Thrives
The Raad Life began as a podcast. But it’s always been more than that. Born from Raad Ghantous’ design atelier, the brand has evolved into a cultural platform, a lifestyle ethos, and a personal invitation to live beautifully and boldly.
Whether he’s restoring a classic Thunderbird or designing soulful spaces, Raad is helping a generation rewrite what it means to thrive in midlife — with intention, style, and the luxury of freedom. From nostalgia to nuance, Raad’s lens is rooted in design, but his mission is transformation. For Gen Xers ready to shift the script, this is your space. Welcome home.

Favorite Books

Hunting Discomfort
by Sterling Hawkins
Hawkins argues that real growth comes from deliberately stepping toward discomfort rather than avoiding it. Drawing on his own comebacks (selling companies, running ultramarathons, rebuilding after failure), he lays out his ``#NoMatterWhat`` system: a five-step framework for identifying where you're avoiding discomfort, then using it as fuel for breakthrough results. It's part memoir, part playbook, with exercises for applying the framework individually or as a team.

An Emotional Education
by Alain de Botton
Written for the organization de Botton founded, the book argues that traditional education skips the one subject that matters most: how to actually live. It's organized into five sections (Self, Others, Relationships, Work, Culture) covering how to understand your own emotions, sustain love, handle failure and shame, and build a career without losing yourself. De Botton frames emotional health around four markers: self love, candour, communication, and trust.

Theo of Golden
by Allen Levi
A stranger named Theo arrives in the small Southern town of Golden and starts buying pencil portraits of local residents off a coffeehouse wall, one by one, then returning each portrait to the person it depicts. In exchange, he asks only to hear their story. What unfolds is a quiet, character-driven novel about generosity, being truly seen, and the small threads of kindness that connect a community. It builds toward a revelation about who Theo really is.

The Lost Art of Accomplishment
Newport argues our current idea of productivity is broken, mistaking busyness for actual output (what he calls ``pseudo-productivity``). His alternative rests on three principles: do fewer things, work at a natural sustainable pace, and obsess over quality rather than volume. He draws on historical figures like Galileo, Newton, and Jane Austen to show what this looked like in practice.
